Responsible for planning and funding high-quality vocational education and
training for all, the Learning and Skills Council (LSC) aims to increase the level of skills in England to world class standards and, by doing so, to make the country more competitive. It is committed to equality and diversity.
The regional LSC provides education and training in the local area and focuses on the specific needs of learners and employers. As a central body, the LSC has formed numerous partnerships with various organisations and can offer advice and guidance on a range of training programmes.
