enviroVale represents the common commercial and professional interests of local businesses which operate within the Environmental Technology sector. Membership of enviroVale continues to grow, with the intention of extending membership to include companies in Oxfordshire, Milton Keynes, Berkshire and the whole of Buckinghamshire.
Environmental and sustainability issues continue to feature largely in central Government, European and International policy making. Consequently market opportunities are increasing as businesses continue to improve their environmental performance in the production of products and services to meet demand. Aylesbury Vale District Council and Aylesbury Vale Advantage’s research identified some 60 companies who produce products and / or services which pertain to the environment and sustainability within Aylesbury Vale and in February 2006, launched enviroVale, as a business cluster, in recognition of this.
Since then enviroVale has developed into a business led cluster. 8 core businesses from within Aylesbury Vale meet on a regular basis to expand enviroVale’s activities and business connections. Most of these companies have >20 years experience within their specialisms and between them, share a significant numbers of international customers.
enviroVale provides a platform for encouraging commercial cooperation and opportunities to raise awareness of environmental products and services at a local, national and international level.
Members benefit from closer networking relationships within the sector, generating further business opportunities, while on a practical level enviroVale aims to assist with staff development & recruitment, help develop marketing opportunities, explore the potential for shared R & D activities and identify opportunities for supplier cost savings.
